No Peel Apple Cake

4 cups chopped unpeeled apples, cut into ½” pieces
½ cup oil
½ cup applesauce
1½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoon baking soda

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; pour into 9x13 greased pan.

Sprinkle ¼ cup sugar on top and bake at 350ºF for 50 minutes.

  1. I was thrilled to get a comment from you on my blog yesterday. I didn't think anybody but my kids were reading it. And the comment that you liked my paintings...well, you can imagine how that made me feel.
    I'm not much of a cook but the "no peel apple cake" sounds like something even I could do. My daughter is a fabulous cook and loves making desserts so I'm sending her your blog site for sure.
